Do you regularly donate to any charities?

lots of people donating to animal charities here. Nothing wrong with that but it does surprise me how much people prefer to give to animal charities than to charities that protect children or other humans. Does anyone else notice this? I'm sure I read somewhere that animal charities get far more than children charities.

Kids have social services - animals get nowt. That's my (probably very blinkered) view! I can't help it, it's just where my loyalties lie.

I see it exactly that way too Rob
Animals have no choices whatsoever, at least children (when they reach that age) can converse and show emotions to some extent. In other words, it's much easier to see a child is not happy than an animal.

No thats not true. For anyone who's interested this is the top 10 charities in the UK by voluntary income. Bear in mind that they may earn money on top of this from other sources such as government contracts and trading activities.
