do you get sharks in Ibiza?

there are no great whites in the med and it is highly unlikley to be attacked by any other shark. in fact you are more likley to die crossing the road than of a shark attack.

You have to be kidding me right?! The Mediterranium(sp!) is far too warm for Great White Sharks! they wouldn't

there would be sharks in the Med, but only small ones that wouldn't dream about attacking humans. they'd live off small to medium sized fish and not much else. I've swam and dived with sharks a few times and they never pose as a problem. There's only a few species out there that are threatening to people, but you wont find any of them in the Med. Just remember with the crowds of people in the water, thats enough to scare anything swimming around out into deeper water, regardless of what you saw in Jaws! plus also remember, sharks mainly feed at night, not during the day!

Like someone else said, the only sharks around Ibiza and the club and bar owners!

Not kidding nor inventing. I was just telling what I saw in a documentary (this one didn't pretend to provoke panic, but to defend these animals), also telling about a video recorded on the waters of Italy (I don't think it was fiction). And also, I was just summarizing some things that the report that our mate LagunaBeachCA gave us through a link said. It seems quite a serious scientific report.

The Mediterranean warm? just around the shores in summer, and at the Eastern Mediterranean. The water temp on the shores in winter on these latitude for instance is about 15 ºC only.

In short: it's very unlikely to be attacked by a shark in the Med, but really, there're white sharks in the Med. Although they probably don't reach the enormous sizes of the ones in California, South Africa, etc.

You can find them hanging around on the West Side with a girl you just met named Maria who is sure she's comeing to America.

She's so pretty.

But watch out around DC10 for the Jetsssssssssssssss (they're the Jets to the end).
