After venting my spleen over this, I shall be typing all of my responses in the future in a word document. I shall then do a full spell/grammar check, cut and paste and then post.

I don't mind grammatical errors so much- for me language is constantly evolving and expression is much more important than following rules (unless its in a business letter or something official), but I really can't stand people writing in that horrible text speak with half of the letters missing. It gives me a headache just looking at it.

I think so. my dad wouldn't let me have them on my shoes, partly because he though it looked common and partly because he's a real ale drinker and doesn't approve of lager
