Did job jobs bring the Rave anthems?I don’t know what happened in that club last night! This night is absolutely phenomenal beyond words... I’ll review more when I can properly.

Waiting for mrPachas review before I hit the SOLD button..
Overall, absolutely phenomenal night. Musically up there with the best I’ve had in years in Ibiza, or anywhere else. And that’s not just next day feelings talking.
Before I come onto the music, and before anyone asks, the dancefloor from far left all the way to the right (garden entrance) was full from 0230 onwards for most of the night. At some points actually not much room in places and a pain to move across the floor. The VIP / Tables behind the DJ were very busy. And say what you want about the VIP tables, they were as off their faces and into the music as much as the dancefloor. There were even two guys in gimp outfits! That’s when I thought, this f***ing night is working. I mean I’ve never seen that in Pacha!
Onto the music. We arrived around 2am when Job Jobse was playing. As a few people had said, was slightly concerned before, but he nailed it and had the room eating out of his hand. Also, when you fancy the DJ, the connection is even stronger!
A few tunes that summed up his set:
Global - “Skin”
Grinsphere - “Bye Bye”
November - “New Horizons” (though think slightly different mix)
The change over time between Jobse and Dixon was this was David O’Dowds “The World Retreats”
Now onto the man himself. Firstly, I’m not a complete Dixon groupie. I’ve always respected him, enjoyed a lot of his sets, but last night for me he took it to a new level.
Every direction you think he’s going to take you, he changes direction and takes you to another place. The guy is absolutely masterful at what he does, and I’m not sure who else comes close.
I think he played some of “Longing” by MrMaunus” if you know that one, proper rave tune if there is one.
And then the tune that just made me go crazy, and one of my favourite ones right now. Just sums up Dixon, and this night
“Starting Again” &Me feat Atelier
“Invisible Suicide” by Clarian
https://youtu.be/goSWEGmsGSE
And then as Jobse and Dixon went B2B this came on....
“Shortwave Radio Antenna Down” - Unit Black Flight
https://youtu.be/DDdO9PuecVE
So many more I could post, but these sum it up quite nicely for me.
Overall, as people have said before, an absolute masterclass in how you DJ.
And I know it’s ALL about the music, but the investment the Pacha people have made to that place showed last night. The lasers, the watergate type lights on the ceiling, it most definitely did not feel I was in Pacha.
If Pacha and Dixon continue this partnership next season, this night could become legendary. And I have a feeling it just might.
And once we left, we finished the night with a massive beautiful moment in the taxi home. “Getting Away With It” by Electronic (Neil Tennant’s vocals) came on the radio. You know how sometimes even a pop song can just sum how you feel in that moment. Me, Nick and the taxi driver singing along windows down cursing along the Av. 8 d’Agost.
It kind of summed my life up at that moment....”I'm an original sinner but when I'm with you, I couldn't care less... “I've been getting away with it all my life”
