I know Oakie seems to be going from some kinda mid life crisis at the mo (growing his hair, gowing all american and releasing an absolute sh*te new artist album, imo) but I must admit his set @ Gatecrasher 5 years ago is still one of the best I have ever seen.

i love both discs of that balance 008! never heard playing DM playing live, but this compilation is just great!

Yeah Disc 1 is also good, was a little dissapointed with the track that samples Depeche Mode (Track 6 Babak Shayan–Flowers I think), when it first came on I nearly wet myself but then it just seems to loop the same sample over & over for around 6 minutes. Gets a little tedious.

:lol: I don't think he's rubbish, I just think he's average, I'm not a fan of his type of music tho, if you're into proggy $hit :lol: then I'm sure you'd be weeing your pants over him :lol:
 
he's not doing the Renaissance opening party anymore anyway, Yousef is in for him. (Desyn hasn't been well lately).
Plus Anthony Pappa is doing a retro classics set in the other room with Paul Taylor ! Aciiiiiiiiiid !
 
oh it is a real shame that he is missing the opening:( I hope he gets better soon cos I've wanted to see him for ages...

...still Tiga has produced some great tracks so seeling him will be a first and hopefully good, and I can't ever remember youseff not producing the goods. See him twice last year, once at wls which he played a great set, then at renaissance which was completely different yet just as good

WTF 8O Desyn is pretty much the best Dj on the go just now, Youseff on the other hand is prety boring.
