Delacy - hideaway

deep dish's finest hour imo

Can I contest that point?

thought I'd import this over from the spanish forum

none other than delacy - hideway - deep dish's finest hour imo - still sounding fierce all these years later - and the scene in that room looks >>> 8)

Not even at a wedding can I tolerate that record*, but the sights of this years closings going right off and all "that lot" playing proper, full bodied house gives me goosebumps and has probably secured my return next year*

:D:D:D

definite handbag but on this one I was always suckered in by the production (+the organ - aaah)

the other deep dish I liked is the one they did with Tracy Thorn - the future of the future - again very mid-90s, but it still works for me

I hear you on want love/witch doctor - fine tunes

Todd Terry was always overrated imo - ok, he did the original 'kraze the party' (I prefer the jungle brothers myself) and he turned out a fine remix of ebtg 'missing' but beyond that, production line house all the way. When it came to commercial US remixers - Morales/Hurley were more up my street

nightcrawlers did my head in on around the third listen

Ultra Nate I could happily never hear again - the intro was nice though, mind

anyone who mentions Mousse T 'horny' gets a slap.

+ stretching the boundaries of handbag to absolute limit:

voices of life - the word is love (Hurley)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZim5UGbGQo

vocal a tad too urban for me, but the production is brilliant
