FOR YEARS ANDY WILSON worked at CADENA CEIN on his nightly ENGLISH language show. That was followed over the past two years by his role as a key part of the original GLOBAL RADIO set up, as organiser and with his daily BALERICA show. Now he’s part of the brand new IBIZA SONICA 95.2 FM, which is essentially the Global Radio people and concept, but under a fresh name, they having departed en mass after the original Global vision altered, changing to a – as they saw it at least – more commercial mainstream course. The establishing talent include Andy, IGOR MARIJUAN and MIGUEL ANGEL VALVERDE, the station launched July 17th broadcasting to Ibiza, Formentera and the nearby Spanish mainland and includes most of the shows from leading DJs, promoters, venues and producers who made Global so essential for Ibiza-philes in the past.
