let's put together a list of places you can hear good dance music online. feel free to add, no comments and questions please

Little Tutorial on Streaming Live Music:

First of all if you don't have at least an ISDN connection, you can probably forget most of these - the quality is just not good enough.

If you have ISDN or higher (ADSL, DSL, Cable, etc) then all you need the following software on your computer:

Real Player - download from
http://www.realaudio.com/products/player/download.html
click on the link in the top right corner which says FREE real player.

Winamp - download from
http://www.winamp.com/player/
you just need the free version

Windows Media Player - download from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp
you'll probably already have a version of this on your computer, but it's worth it to have the newest version

once you have these installed simply click on the links below and enjoy listening :D

We play non-stop House and Trance with and emphasis on new tracks but with some classics thrown in. At the weekends we have live DJs sets.
I'm looking to increase the amount of DJ sets so if anyone wants to get on the station and can supply good quality mixes then get in touch. House preferred but other styles considered. www.energyfm.info

In the interests of balance I will give a plug to someone elses station as well! Turntables24.com from Germany is always worth a listen - they play quality house. The website seems to be down at the moment but the stream is at http://peace.str3am.com:6400/listen.pls
 
hi all not been on for a couple of months, but I have spent many an hour at my pc playing poker and listening to mth.house. Its an online house station based in germany. Mostly funky house, its great though.

just use the play url in winamp and go to http://house.mthn.net:8500/

best one i found online, they also have a chat room where the DJs are so you can go and ask for that all important track name ;]
