36hours!!!!!

New to this forum thing but interesting to read. I heard a long time ago that authorities have made their fortunes in ibiza through tourism and clubs. Now they are set on the island returning to its old roots and dont want hords of clubbers decending on the island anymore. hence all the new laws and increase in Police. Were still going, i wouldnt put off as these rules are only going to get strickter in the years ahead. Still gonna get a piece of the action in 36 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!:lol:loads going on in Ibiza at mo!!!

Really bad news, i hope this doesn't lead to amnesia getting closed to! I will be proper gutted if my trip is ruined again.

I'm not the biggest fan of DC10 anyway, its good fun but i don't like being in dark rooms when its sunny outside hence my love of bora bora :p.I still dont think it deserve to be closed down again though.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about the global tours.

Although I'm confused as to who is actually responisible for the fines? Circoloco or DC10? Circoloco just promote 1 night....

Agree that someone seems to want an end to it all

The club gets issued with the fine although who pays is between them and the promoter. Remember what happened in '07 season when Manumission left Privilege over an unpaid 160,000 euro fine that they were in dispute with the Privilege boss over who paid.

Why only them?

Because the powers that be see DC10 as a drug den and Circo Loco and afterhours clubbing is public enemy number 1 in their eyes.

surely this is no suprise to everyone? at one point, people doubted if it would open at all this season!! Anyroad, when I go in September, technically it should be open again :twisted::twisted::twisted: if not, i'll choose from the 4/5 other decent night on instead.......

I drove past DC10 last Monday at 8.30 pm.
Only the small car park near the door had cars in. The large one was empty.
I know it has the later start now, but I found this quite suprising.

ok i'll bite.... on what basis dont you think they should be shut down given that the law is on central governments side - assuming of course that the lawyers dont appeal and the original overturn stays and everyones wasted a day talking gobsh**te and the lawyers get out of the pig trough ;)

the funny thing about this is that no-one ever asks the owners of dc10 what they think - maybe people should be talking to them and not andrea - there's another promoter who used to be at dc10 and isnt anymore - anyone bothered to ask them why ?

afterparties????

So ??? Just where is there to go at 6 a.m when your shabby dabies are still groovin?? We always used to head to space or Bora Bora?? Where now ?? Can anyone shine a light?? Cheers!!

you always do ;)

because the reasons for its first closure where nonsense then and still are. People under the consumption of drugs while on the premises of dc10. wake up smell the coffee. Drugs are everywhere, there no more in dc10 then they are in space or pacha.
Its pick on the small guys, they have wanted it closed for years.

I can't believe it! I'm going to Ibiza in the morning and was soooo looking forward to DC10 :( It was going to be the highlight of my trip. This is really upsetting sob sob sob!

the two hightlights of my trip were supposed to be an all day affair at we love at then over to DC10 monday morning. This was when i booked my trip in Jan.

Now i dont get either

I read an interview with Andrea Pellini a couple of years ago (I think it was 2006) in Pacha magazine. If I rememeber it correctly, he told that he and this other Italian guy (forgot his name) bought the place themselves to start a new venue in Ibiza. After that, Andrea, his friend and Tania Vulcano created Circoloco. My point is: DC10 is owned by the Circoloco crew.

It's a few years ago and I don't have the magazine anymore so please correct me if I'm wrong!!!
