DC10 shut for a whole year [2009]

DC10 cannot open until the case currently been fought in the Spanish Courts is resolved one way or the other.

If DC10 win you can be sure it will be mainstream news.

The Mayor of San Jose is venemently against the re-opening of DC10 and to fight with local politicians is folly.

From what I hear Space are trying to circumvent the new licencing laws which dont allow a club to open between 6am-12pm. They are looking for loopholes, and if successful may help DC10's case.

i've heard from the horse's mouth on one side that is opening.

i've also heard from the horse's mouth on the other side that it isn't.

so what does that mean?? dunno, lots of horses though.

  • DC10 will open and will have a strict capacity of 500 people
  • DC10 will at the same time be given a temporary one month licence to see what happen
all this according to the blog...remains to see if it's true...

if it's true though i wonder what is gonna happen outside dc10 every monday when thousand will try to get in...maybe they'll start sharing invitations...:lol:
 
More rumors??
In april arrive to me from some friends(in talk with resident dj of dc10 ibiza) that he ensures that dc10 open at 1 june 2009, but they do not say much, because davide squillace have put in myspace that he playing on dc10 june 1 and the event was finally eliminated
The early days of May, I encounter with a security staff of DC10, he make sures that the next June 1 he works at dc10, and may greet us on the door of DC10.

In the last 2 weeks any rumor about nothing, only the information in spotlight forum.

okay, here is the latest.....

apparently some circoloco residents (my source mentioned josé de divina and fabrizio) are trying to rent summum in the bay for the summer :!:

sounds about right. I cant imagine anything happening at DC10. However I can not imagine the same nonsense at Summum, but you never know...
 
Well that does not affect dc10 at all ... If they want to rent the club,it is fine,but dc10 will open on the first june ... i think:!:

I think the same of you JohnJohn. And Jose de Divina or Fabrizio are regulars of ibiza for many years and would combine well with DC10 and another partys in the island, something already done in recent years. In few days Jose De Divina at the opening Zoo project, for example.

we have faith in DC10.

My souce is a Circo Loco resident DJ! After his set at another club last week, he told my friend that DC10 will be open! She looks after all the DJ's!

He's either talking **** or knows something we dont! :?:
 
It doesn't look very convincing though...
And if the dc10 residents are playing somewhere else this summer, that means no dc10 right???
