Dc10 Reopened!

Opening party is probably a bit different... at the re-opening, the place was already very full at 4pm when we showed up, but we didn't wait in line at all.

What are he running hours for Circoloco @ DC 10??
Can you still get in on monday night time and where exactly is the club situated.

Many spanks.

.....08.00 - 22.00 ish.....it's at the end of some airport runway somewhere.....take a cab....arrive about 14.00.....and loose your mind.....

Was a good day, couldn't help noticing prices (for admission and especially for drinks) were significantly higher than in the past though! We got caught out by the presale tickets not having the free drink too, which was extremely irritating (petty maybe but it doesn't exactly make you feel valued) and then the same thing happened in Pacha last night, although admittedly our tickets were pretty cheap for that.

The Pacha pre-sale tickets also no longer include a drink :!:

I paid the same price, 30 euros, for my ticket last year (but with drink)
Were the drinks more expensive? I thought I remembered them being cheaper but wasn't sure. Still cheaper than the other big clubs (mixed drinks 10, beer 7, soft drinks 6, water 5, if memory serves...)

I think it was 2:00 on some tickets last year.

Though I've never seen them turn anyone away (and I think I've shown up late at least once)

The dress code and time has been on their tickets for years. Dress code is a disclaimer and the time is to encourage people into the club early. I was never turned away for arriving late.

Interesting at how busy DC10 is already.

There's no dress code at pacha. Regarding the no entry after such and such a time. This has always been the case. The guy told me that that time on the ticket is a garanteed entry time.

Mayor of San Jose bull****

You know this whole thing is ultimately about money. Who didn't get nailed: Space and Pacha, who don't compete with each other du to Space's daytime schedule and have high-level ties to Madrid. ****, I'm coming all the way from California. I'll pay the mayor of San Jose $20k to stop screwing with DC10. But it's obviously about paying the owners of Space and Pacha a LOT more money, and not about the backwater governments in the Balearics.

This could be an interesting thingy, to post the Ticket und Drink Prices for the Clubs. Espacially for those who still are 'bout to visit the island next days/weeks/months. Although i can imagine that it might get a little confusing with everybody posting what he paid for tix :D But drink prices are pretty much the same for everyone!

A new thread would be better instead of posting it in the "DC10 Reopened"-Thread :D

It's not just about money. If it was then all the clubs would be open as they can all afford to pay fines/licenses.

The current situation is as much about pride, reputation and morality.

I've expressed my views on heavy handed policing many times on this site. But authorities don't like obviously wasted people and are taking steps to counter the culture that encourages this.

We live in reactionary times.

their license is for only 65 people and is a cafe concierto license which means that people are seated to listen to the music.
Three Cautions
The "after hours" bar DC-10 re-opened its door last Monday, and immediately received three cautions after a police visit. The cautions were given for exceeding the capacity of the bar (it officially only holds sixty-five people), having music on an illegal terrace, and for people dancing on the same terrace. The visit was made by police, hours after the bar had opened its doors after the recent ban received for allowing the sale of drugs on its premises.

This baffled us last year :? we went to the DC10 opening party and paid on the door and got a free drink, but then in September we bought tickets at Tantra and didnt get a free drink??? :?: why do they do this? do they think you are more deserving of a free drink if you queue on the door?

With the stamp that you get for DC10 when you go out for a bit, is there a time limit of when you can get back in?
