Oh man I had nightmares and insomnia coming back home for the few days after Ibiza. Why does this happen? I guess it was worth it.

Dont get the hooligan house music reference my freind,house crowds are still amoungst the coolest,chilled, freindly in clubland. You can get idiots at any club night,dont get it.
 
ER-20s are good sort of a standard. Proguard Noizezz are great and low key good in 24db.

Try these out and if not totally happy then go for customs.

I tried some ER-20s at MusicOn and Solomun last weekend. Very impressed! Not sure if my ear was just the right fit, but they felt like they were custom made. They really really make a difference. I found them best in Pacha as that D&B Audiotechnik can slice through you if you get too close!
 
Main issue for the better non-customs are always fit. Some people just cant get ER-20 to fit and some have trouble with Proguard Noizezz, Alpine, Earsonics and such. Read the reviews and try to make a decision based on that. Needs and ear canals are different.

Its great that you got a good fit mr_why. Many i spoken to see them as the gold standard for non-customs. Remember that ER-20 come from a company that does some topshelf stuff. Would not surprise me if some of the tech is transfered down just like what is done with speakercompanies.
 
What's the deal with garden this summer?? Been on the website and there's no set times apart from the closing. If it does run every week what times its start/finish??
 
will it be packed tonight? - we shall see.

the garden is only open as a dancefloor on mondays for cirocoloco from 5 to 9pm. after that it's chill out and bar area.
 
Looking at getting some ear plugs in advance of our trip in a couple of weeks and don't want to spend mega bucks on a pair, these three keep cropping up in searches.....

Not sure about off the shelf ones, but long term I would seriously consider custom ones. If you love your music and don't want it to sound muffled and just lower (and you love your hearing) it is worth it for the price of only a decent meal.

Not sure about the Ear peace. ER20 are ER20 good earplugs IF they fit you.

Alpine are good but take a look at Alpine music pro instead since they are little more for your buck.

Proguard Noizezz they are great if your ear canal arent tiny. In my view the best you get for a small amount of cash, even my store that does customs vouch for them so they are good. Around 25 euros though so not exactly cheap.
 
To be fair I never thought dc10 was that loud the other night that u would actually need earplugs, maybe it was because I was up the back of both rooms at points but didn't seem to be - hurt your ears loud
 
Just seen next Monday's lineup, and found this the most suitable place to ask.
Are we expecting a rammed, near sell out affair? I know people talk about more room to dance etc with it being in September n all, but looking at that lineup has made me think perhaps the opposite! Went circo last year on September 1st and it was perfectly busy for me, but lineup was nowhere near as strong...has anyone been to the Cox date previous years and could shed some light?
