I just hope as a surprise someone from Above& beyond or armin makes an appearance between my trip ..it will be awesomesttt thing of this year

I read on Facebook that Ex Driftwood and now Connect Promoter/dj Alex Ryan played after Above and Beyond with Vicky Divine. That might of been a Classics set

Vicky Devine was in Charlys Angelz with two female DJs, who were the other two? I am thinking one may of been called Heleno_O

They had nights at Summon and later on Play2 iirc.

Back to Cream it is poor it ends 7 days before my birthday this year but at least I can nip in during the July visit.
 
It didn't seem particularly overcrowded compared to other times I've been over - we walked down from the VIP into the main area at Cream with relative ease. Maybe because of the increased competition between clubs?
 
Yeah I thought Cream was quiet as well...not empty, but no-where near as rammed as previous years. One thing I noticed was that it was hardly promoted at all over the PDB/Ibiza town side, I didn't see a single poster let alone billboard until I got a cab over to San An for our last 2 days. So they were clearly aiming at the young British crowd, which was a shame as it was not very cosmopolitan in there at all...and was almost half empty by 5am when Prydz finished. I've been in there at 7am before and still couldn't move between rooms very easily...
 
Oh dear. And this is in peak season? Has the change of direction on the terrace backfired???
 
I was disappointed with it to be fair. Wish I'd gone to something else.

They should have had some house in the terrace like Together did with Defected. Bung Prydz and PVD on in the main room one after the other, or on alternate weeks (they were both on at the same time in different rooms so had to miss one), have Glitterbox in the terrace instead of Space...that would have been good I reckon...
 
Can't say I'm that surprised. Even with Sasha & the like still got an uphill battle to convince the underground crowd to attend Cream on a Thursday when they already offer Hyte, Cocoon & Music On. If this has been what it's been like all summer then I guess we'll see the likes of Angello, Sander van Doorn et al back on the terrace next year.
 
I just wonder whether trance is just not as popular any more in Ibiza...I've heard that Oakenfold's thing at Vista club was pretty quiet too...unheard of in the past
