Definitely not mate I'm getting it fairly easy!
Feel like a fraud!
I work in orthopaedics so my clinics are running at reduced capacity, would love them to stay that way ?
Although I have went into the nursing homes when they needed help and will be giving the vaccines soon so thats my contribution lol

I mean, from Day 1, it was pretty obvious they were going to be needed. Anyway......I need to get off and cancel my accommodation for my March trip abroad, fun fun!
The lockdown was a relief for me. I was in tier 4 and the only thing i've done since October is go to the gym, that of course went when tier 4 came, so it literally benefitted me to have everything locked down as whatever time we come out of lock down the numbers will be lower than they would have been with more people allowed out.
In other news I hear some polls in France have only 40% of people likely to take up the vaccine . Thank god i'm not from there ?

Lockdown relief for me too - numbers spiralling out of control in tourist spots of adjacent Cornwall following influx of holidaymakers and second home owners over Christmas - they could stay on in rented accommodation as long as they were already there before Tier 3. We are still at about 106 per 100,000 and if that stays stable due to lockdown it won't feel impossible to go out for essentials if needs be. I wasn't going into anywhere that isn't still permitted under current lockdown anyway !!
Flip side of not being in France is that with a low uptake you'll likely get access to it sooner if you're not on the priority list !

My current area is actually sitting stable currently, which isn't bad as I'm in the part of the country currently riddled.
I'm not too bothered about myself, I've had it and just lost my smell and taste completely but nothing else. I just want all of the vulnerable people to have it so restrictions can start to be released, I'll have it whenever I'm up but that might be a year away
Just had a call from my friend, his mum (67, no underlying health condition) is in the hospital where I am working today, has just been put in an induced coma. Caught it seeing her older sister who had fell. Sister has since died of covid
My mate still off work since October, just been referred to long Covid clinic, has heart problems and fatigue
Hospital feels eerily like late March, filling day by day.

And then you get dickheads saying 'I drove past the hospital and it looks quiet' like he was expecting a scene from Mad Max outside, or the idiots taking pictures of empty corridors like that is where we keep the patients

The Food and Drug Administration’s first analysis of the clinical trial data also found that the coronavirus vaccine worked well regardless of a volunteer’s race, weight or age.
