My mother was in town shopping today and was getting socks for my 14yr and went to get me some and it was blocked off with staff member there and she could hand the socks out to you. ? You can pick up kids socks but you can't pick adults...????
 
So it looks like the leak is out to the papers regarding Christmas..

Up to 4 households allowed to meet, for up to 5 days, of which each day of those restrictions will mean 5 days of lockdown in January. So potentially 25 days of lockdown in January FFS.

I don't even care about Christmas now. Potentially 7.5 weeks out of 12 with no gym though :spank: and that's IF they open from 2nd December.

Christbloodymas can feckoff. I just want some kind of normality, with distancing, masks, condoms, whatever, all the time, not one flaming big binge followed by three months of imprisonment.

Absolute madness how much this gov think they can control peoples lives.

ps i’ve seen a lot of comments on SM from the wetwipes/snowflakes/‘covid police as i call them saying how we should be in full lockdown, young folk are selfish little arseholes etc etc but it’s the same people who are all for this f***ing 5 day thing at xmas?‍♂️ so your telling me there’s a difference between seeing your family or friends on say the 25th dec to the 31st:lol: give over man

People going hungry and chucked out of their homes kids being sent to Foster Care and separated from family. And they can raise 1mil in 12hrs so Daisy the inbred elephant can eat her €100 a day diet.. ? they can go fck now.. something ain't right....

You can only buy socks upto size 5 here.. ? security will have to pass you out sizes 6-12 from what looks like a crime scene the way it's taped off in Tesco
 
Lot of people wondering what´s goin on up here in Stockholm. Last week they announced that public gatherings will be reduced to max 8 persons and alcohol will not be served at bars/restaurants after 22.00. Very few people wearing masks, although you see slightly more of them now compared to earlier during spring.

It appears new deaths here are once again due to spread in nursing homes (dont know why they decided opening them up again for visits after summer).
 
If the easing of the restrictions in relation to Christmas is true, then where were the Government when it came to people being able to come together to celebrate Eid and Diwali?

Those religious festivals were swept under the carpet. Yet the people in those communities, or anyone who may not acknowledge Christmas are going to be affected by the knock on of a further lockdown.

Fully agree, as a nation we’re obsessed by Christmas in the UK.
They shouldn’t be making allowances for Christmas. Getting the country back up running normally is what counts.

In fact, let’s see if they cancel Christmas the day before like they did in Manchester with Eid

edit. I’m not religious in the slightest, but I have respect for those who are. Even if celebrating the birth of Christ is rammed in my face from mid September.

I do hear the frustrations about gyms being shut extended, and I think everybody should be putting pressure on their local MP to ensure that gyms are exempt moving forward, but putting people into a lockdown over Xmas (that they're going to break anyway) is another action that will cause a lot of misery to people's mental health
