I wonder if the opening parties will happen in April-May after all or have to be postponed to a bit later

I better start saving for Ibiza 2021...

we will all need Ibiza and a good party

that's currently the big question.

but let's not forget the/any vaccine isn't the only option.

we've got another 6 months until the island wants to reopen properly. so the other two options for which we've still got half a year would be finding some therapeutics that really helps and obviously get an efficient testing scheme in place. I know there are people that don't like this idea, but I for one am almost sure that, unless vaccine/therapeutics stuff suddenly moves very quickly (I don't expect that), next summer we'll only be able to have some nightlife IF we do test everyone that arrives here (or brings a test).

am hoping that for 2022 things will be easier already.

The only wrinkle I can see is the huge pent up demand for ibiza and the like, drives up prices massively. But then again a lot people might be priced out due to the economic/jobs situations for many ?

Thats possible that's why best to look at hotels as soon as you can with a good and flexible dates or cancellation policy

Flights maybe expensive next year for sure, then having to get insurance that covers COVID-19 etc

If you are vaccinated it would be nice if you can skip the testing requirement

of course that would be nice. but that said, I personally still believe that next year, of all the people coming to ibiza, the amount of people that already got a covid19 vaccine will be a tiny fraction.

maybe I'm wrong, but I keep thinking it'll take a long time until enough people are vaccinated.

Maybe it’s different outside America, but everyone over here should have the opportunity to be vaccinated by the summer. Even still, I didn’t mean to drop that requirement completely, but if you can show proof of vaccination, the testing requirement shouldn’t apply imo.

I know this is sort of the timeline, but I'm doubtful of it - even for the US.
