As for all the conspiracy theories. Think about it logically (I know that's a big ask?), but if they had the tech to half the stuff they spout, why would they even need a vaccine. That can of Coke you drink, food you eat or even the air you breath would be a vector!
I haven't read anyone here spreading conspiracy theories.

Just common sense and wariness about the usual length of making a vaccin compared to what it took for this vaccin and some knowledge from the swine flu vaccin - narcolepsy misery.

I can’t believe the lizard men overlords and Bill Gates didn’t even wait more than 1 day after Trump lost the election before rushing this news out as part of the great global reset. Open your minds sheeple

Yeah thanks mate ?. We kinda expected it when went in hospital last week. My grandad who's brother it is, is really upset. He himself is suffering from heart failure and got 24/7 home care. So everyone worried covid gets brought to him. Ironically he wasn't expected to make it to last xmas but still going ?
Bless him, love to the crew

Anyway, to be clear...I'm happy with the Pfizer news.
Like I said, we're trapped in a policy (lockdown on/off, hammer-dance stuff) we will never get out of unless there is a vaccin.
It's the lightning rod.

Wether it works or not (although it seems like this one will work so that's good) or what the side effects will be doesn't really matter at this point I guess. The vaccin in combination with quick tests will make 2021 look a lot brighter for everyone, vulnerable and non-vulnerable people.

I meant the shite going round on internet. As for vaccine safety, like said above, massive funding really helps expedite things. They've tested it and safety for the masses. The other thing that makes it take years is the testing for all the edge cases, people with certain genetic diseases, medicine combinations and so on.

If really worried, wait until end of next year or not bother, your choice for sure. Bit like buying the new xbox series x, wait few months to see if there is a new hardware revision ?.

Best grow own food, filter own water and wear a respirator 24/7 along with tin foil hat ??
Love this movie and this scene

For those concerned about safety (which is understandable) & how they can have done it so quick, let me use a road analogy:

How long does it take to get a bit of highway repaired usually? Bloody ages. Yet when LA had an earthquake which destroyed huge amount of elevated highway, they rebuilt it all in just 6 weeks!

Money, need and incentive go a long way.

(? hears analogy police on their way!?)

Saw a timelapse video at the weekend of a tunnel being placed under an existing stretch of Dutch motorway in under 24 hours!! can you imagine?

Its also been based on sars vaccines so wasn't starting from day1.

Like all vaccines and medical treatments there are risks. Incredibly small but still there. Also consider this is going to be one of the most scrutinised vaccines in modern times for safety etc. From reading papers on how they work, I don't have any massive concerns.

So that been said it's up to the individual to make their own risk assessment. Risk of some bad reaction etc vs first hand info on how bad getting the virus is.?‍♂️

I know many people in person and on interwebs who's experiences to me make it think worth the risk.

Also a relative died of it this weekend?, but they where old and underlying condition, so it's ok ?

Sorry to hear that mukka ? my thoughts are with the HullMysterious family tonight.

I'm reading your other comments and I get a good feeling from you about this vaccine news ?

I'm going to allow myself to be happy about it :)

I haven't smiled properly in ages.
