haven't put up an ibiza/balearics update in here for a while.
in various areas in spain perimetral lockdowns are active and in the worst areas they are even considering going back to home confinement (even though the central government wants to wait with that until they see if the recently imposed less strict measures work - something we know takes a little time until you see it).
here on the balearics, things aren't looking either very good nor very bad. ibiza town is still not looking great especially.
today the balearic government said that currently they would rather cut off the islands from the rest of the world (by closing airports and ports for non-balearic connections) instead of going back to home confinement.
it being winter and thus us not getting any tourism anyway, I'd personally much prefer that rather than being locked up at home again. please no!

it's only hypothetical though, I personally hope neither of both will have to be necessary.
