Come on CSKA!

I just read the Reuters coverage of the game... funny, but Mike Collett (one of the top football reporters in Europe) saw the game in much the same way I did.

Well, Chelsea's my main club but I also follow CSKA and DC United (who looked quite good against Chelsea in the pre-season, I must say).

But in general I'm true blue 8)

I read a lot of sports press every day... not just the UK newspapers but also the wire services. Mike Collett is Reuters' top football reporter.

Reuters is good because they cover football objectively, unlike most of the UK papers. This is especially true when it's a UK team against a team from somewhere else. Sometimes it's impossible to even find out last night's European (club, national team) scores in the UK press unless a British team was involved.

Of the UK newspaper reporters, Matt Dickinson at the Times is probably the best. Jon Brodkin of the Guardian is quite good too.

anyone can find quotes that suit them, you knob

Garcia was proving an elusive customer for CSKA, but he saw an early chance vanish when his control let him down and then failed to find the target twice when he had time and space 20 yards out.

The Reds were comfortably dominating possession but could not find their shooting boots.

supporting 3 teams makes you out to be even more of a clown than i first thought.

If you read what I said above, I said I support Chelsea and follow CSKA and DC United. If you can't understand the difference, that makes you out to be even more of a clown than I first thought.

Wrong. I've already been through this in another thread so I have no desire to repeat it again. Tired of stupid people who think they're the only ones who know football. Juvenile and, in some ways, typical British chauvinism, which is what you've displayed this whole thread  How old are you, anyway? 16? I probably went to my first football game before you were born.

If you're such a great Liverpool supporter, how many games do you go to a year? How many of the players and staff have you met? Bet you I can beat you on both counts. And yes, I supported Chelsea before they won the league.

meeting the players isnt a measure of a fan you idiot, neither is going to the game seeing as the premiership clubs price themselves out of the average local follower. as it happens i have been going to anfield regularly since i was 5 which is 20 years now. this, and my age are irrelevant though as you show all the signs of being a typical glory follower and you're stupidty is that of sterotypical american soccertainment fan, and my understanding of football seems inifintely larger that yours.

stick to baseball, you weiner.

I know, Sil. This guy's so clueless. It's honestly like talking to a broken record, or a 15 year old... can't decide which. I'm done with it.
