I think clashing with paradise works better for cocoon than clashing with circo loco when thinking crowd wise. Exciting to see how the nights swap and change this year.......

Won't have to worry about choosing between either now, unless Amnesia decides to do something underground for Mondays but I doubt it. But if there's less competition maybe they'll get lazier with the Circo Loco lineups? I dunno.

That's another reason why Cocoon should move to DC10. Maybe they do it next year. I think it's the beginning of the end of our music in Ibiza when DC10 closes because over grounds taking over. Are they any examples for events which moved to clubs with smaller quantities which were not ended like Manumission and WLS?

I’m sure you don’t know or else you wouldn’t of made this comment ,

Guru josh committed suiside not long ago on the island .

To be honest I think the whole 'VIP' debate is a bit redundant. Amnesia was hardly an anti-VIP club for the man on the street... 50 Euro entry fee and obscene drinks prices, not to mention an ever growing VIP contingent on the top part of the terrace. Everywhere on Ibiza is catered towards money these days, so if Pacha are going to make an effort to try and replicate the underground experience as far as possible, then realistically it's not much different to anywhere else... I guess it could flop majorly, but as a long-time Cocoon addict I'm pretty excited to see what happens next, and will try to get to the opening.

Pacha know they are not going to get away with the same vibe as their EDM nights for Cocoon, just as Amnesia wouldn't have tried the same things as they do for Paris Hilton's night when Cocoon was on.



Either way I am pretty pleased to say I witnessed (possibly) the last track Sven every played on the terrace at a Cocoon party! An historic moment in hindsight.

i m rather glad of the move because at 2017 Cocoon parties (aug 2th and closing ) i was telling to my self , better stay until the end as planning not to experience it again ...

So its at Pacha, a reason to still stick to my words , even not a Cocoon fan as majority (95% ? ) here, Cocoon Closing at Pacha is on my party closing list to do, hoping it will be better than Closing 17 (it only can be )

Madonna - la isla bonita as last tune played for Cocoon amnesia , a little cheezy for an underground party ....

The last track should be a song that stands out from the rest and will be remembered. If it was just another techno track would it be?

The doors was played at the end of the revolution and Angie stone at the end of Space and they stood out... job done..

yes ,Under dj booth, i ve even make a video b4 the track was launch as expecting a speech & some swiss Techno girl on my contacts had even make a video with this song including me on her video (she realized it once back from Closing ), a shame she didnt spot me as we never met in real

i wont give feeedbacks to any party if not experincing them ...

Drumcode starting its own party would be a disaster. The island needs a higher concentration of quality nights, not the big names spreading themselves out even thinner across the ground.
