Nothing, it's been like that for years.
I don't think anything has gone wrong because people do genuinely seem to like it.
It caters for the masses so you're never going to please everyone with that formula.
I've always seen Ibiza clubbing as different anyway because it focuses more on music and that unique island spirit you don't get anywhere else in Europe.
Mainstream gay culture has fungus growing on it, it just exists with nothing to say and the same djs play the same clubs run by the same promotors...one night after another.
It's all completely sewn up and no one seems to be inspired or influenced by any of them - unlike Trade which is still 8) after all these years (AND if I might add, not part of the Vauxhall mafia).
The interesting thing is that Shoreditch is gayer than ever at the mo but none of the clubs advertise in the gay press.
Soho/Vauxhall fashion whores never set foot in them and ironic Shoreditch snobs rarely go to Soho/Vauxhall either.
There's a huge difference between them.
