If anyone has photos videos of DC10 on the day in question don't delete them - very sad story but you be holding evidence:

English Clubber Murdered Outside DC10

A 22-year-old former public schoolboy died in Ibiza this week, three days after being savagely beaten outside the DC10 nightclub in Salinas.

William Hall was reportedly repeatedly kicked in the head repeatedly after becoming involved in a fight and checked himself into Can Misses Hospital last Saturday (August 26) after suffering a serious nosebleed. According to press reports he returned to the hospital three days later suffering from haemorrhaging and severe headaches, where he collapsed and died.

School friends of the London University graduate, who was with his brother when he was beaten, described him as unassuming and quiet, as did his public school headmaster Chris Alcock.

"William is remembered at Queen's as a quiet, hard-working and considerate boy - characteristics that make the news of his death all the more shocking," the headmaster told the Standard.

"He was popular with teachers and fellow pupils."

According to local newspaper reports Dc10 was closed at the time of the first incident.

Then Hall was apparently driven from Dc10 on Monday to the hospital after suffering a nose bleed. They checked him out and sent him home. Then he died.

No clubber was murdered outside Dc10.

from ultima hora:

it says he entered on an illegal taxi and then he was beaten by the driver. that happened on saturday morning but he didnt go to can misses till monday, where he didnt mention anything about the fight. they checked him out and sent him home but he came back the next morning because he was feeling bad and died around midday!!

i told you before and i will tell you again mick, shouldnt spotlight write an article or something about the risks of using illegal taxis? theres been a few VERY violent fights involving illegal taxi drivers vs tourists this summer..... reading some of the comments on spotlight seems like using illegal taxis is something normal though!! :?

terrible.
me and my friends were aproached by a man, im guessing illegal taxi driver trying to get us in the car. v persistant. went on gor about 20 minutes. im glad id heard from people here about people like him. any thing could have happened

sh1t me i used one of the illegal taxis from outside ammnesia, he was proper pushy bout me gettin his taxi and i only did it cos this other lad got in to.turned out neither of us had any money!!! but on the other hand that could have turned out bad.think it would be a good idea to warn peeps as i only found out who/what they do the day after.....

how can you tell if a taxi is illegal or not?

Errr in USA does taxis have any "taxi" signs on roof or side of car  ? That is the best way to recognize if the sign is missing, it is illegal.

I have used those illegal taxis in Ibiza as well, couple of weeks ago one bloke asked 45e's to the Figueretas from Amnesia. Told him to piss off and then another guy came and drove us back to the hotel for 25e. Another issue was when we were waiting a taxi at taxi rank and girl came and asked if we needed a "taxi". We were bit hurry so we took it and turned out that the couple who drove the car they were from Israel and trying to make some extra money. Nice couple but they got lost in Figueretas (up in hill) so those illegal ones doesn't often have a clue where to drive.

I've only used illegal taxis from Amnesia and Privelege, thats because the transport system from there is horrific, specially at the end of the night when everyone gets out.

I think promoters should try to set up more regular bus services for when the clubs shut. (Not that they would because they've already got the money from us all night long!)

British Tourist Dies After Fight.

A 25 year old British tourist was re-admitted to hospital on the island last week suffering from head pains & later died from what the medical staff says were apparently the results of blows to the head, which the young man most likely received in a fight. At the moment the police are not certain who took part in the fight, which is thought to have occurred in the parking area of a well known after hour's club near Playa den Bossa.

It appears that the youngster was waiting in a car, which was thought to be possibly operating as pirate taxi, so that he could be driven to his hotel after attending the club. However it is alleged that when the driver returned to the vehicle he became violent attacking the tourist to get him out of his car & a fight between the 2 developed. The injured British tourist originally went to hospital because his nose was bleeding badly after being punched & was treated before being released. However, he supposedly had to return a few days later because of the head pains & tragically died at the hospital. Police are now trying to clarify what exactly happened to cause this latest tragedy on the island & are hoping that the victim's brother, also on holiday on the island, will shed some light on the incident.

One way to show your dislike of the new road: buy a ''No Volem Autopista, Volem Circoloco T-shirt!!

I did and not just because I wanted a souvenir form DC10 but mainly a statement. These roadworks are ridiculous and way to big for a small isaland like Ibiza. Everyone who's been there this year knows what I'm talking about and for people who are going this month, be warned! Nothing is like it seems anymore, at some places you almost can't recognize the island as it used to be :x

THREE CHARGED OVER HOLIDAY DEATH
BY TOM MORGAN TC.MORGAN@BEPP.CO.UK

09:50 - 07 September 2006
Three Spanish men have been charged in connection with the killing of a young Taunton student who died after a fight on the party island of Ibiza. William Hall, aged 22, died last week having allegedly been kicked repeatedly outside the DC-10 disco near Ibiza Town.

The quiet, former Queen's College pupil took himself to the island's Can Misses Hospital on Monday with a severe nosebleed thought to have been linked to the fight two days earlier.

He was sent home after treatment but died in hospital the following day, six hours after being readmitted with more bleeding and severe headaches.

Police said they had charged two men, aged 29 and 23, with homicide.

A third, aged 24, was accused of covering-up for the other two, the parliamentary police force said.

Mr Hall, who lived in the Staplegrove area of Taunton, is believed to have been on holiday with his mother Anna and brother George.

Appointed yourself judge and jury? Let's have a trial first.

If they are convicted I think the police deserve credit for the swift capture of the perps, as they say in American cop programs.

:o:o

The Argentinian guy who drove the illegal taxi we got was sound,he charged us €45 from Manumission first to drop off some people to Figueratus then to Talamanca which i suppose wasn't that bad.

Another guy we got a Spanish hippy type from San An to Manumission charged us €15 and he was sound as well so they are not all bad.

During my one week stay I used pirate taxi two times, and I must say I was proper worried one time. Getting in a small car outside of Privilege, with two "taxi" guys sitting in the front seats, wasn't the best idea ever. Good thing we were two and my friend is quite big... :)
