Not that I'm often out that late but when walking back from Defected Closing to the Bay at 7am, there wasn't exactly a lot of families on the go at that time of the day to be bothered by people (i.e. me) making their way home. Hotel wasn't even serving breakfast when I got back.
 
This government is an absolute joke. One of the more disturbing statements in that article is the bit about "change or tourism model". What model is that, the VIP model? Good luck with that.

If it wasn't clear before that they were completely anti-nightlife, it is now. Can't even make an exception for special occasions? The government has no interest in trying to work with nightlife.
 
Damn shame this! I thought the system in place worked just fine! Play by 'the rules' for the most part of the season with a little allowance for openings and closings!

Still, on the plus side, daytime activity production will be on the up for most!

We all saw those walking dead pictures from amnesia at 7am.. hell on earth..
And maybe the after pary might start earlier and not at 4pm in the afternoon..

That could be the case but long term this will have a negative effect on Ibiza clubbing reputation especially when other places go on for much longer.

Interested to find out when the last time you have been in an Ibiza club at 7am? I think it's a good atmosphere that time in the morning especially in Amnesia or DC10 Terrance. Early morning sunrise sets tender to always be that little bit special.
 
I've only seen the pictures, the only time ive been at a club at 7am is when Space used to open then..long long time ago..
 
Ok mate but pictures don't always show you the full story or atmosphere. If you used to go clubbing to morning time, you should really understand that clubs closing at 6am isn't great news for clubbers.
 
Yeah 7 AM closing sucks, we're gonna have shorter sets. I guess they could open earlier but no one is gonna come that early.

I agree that daylight in Amnesia and Vista club is when things get special. Sure I'm tired, but the music gets more varied then. Or even Pacha experiencing Solomun at 7 or 8 AM is special

With the way things are going I'm sure daytime jams will be controlled more than ever
