Circoloco @ DC10 2016

And finally, can I politely ask you not to tell me to f***k off again :)

No problem. Apologies if offence was taken. This wasn't aimed solely at your comment. Indeed it seems to be (what I believe is an unhealthy) common opinion among the "forgive him" contingent.

We had a heated debate about it last summer...I'm still owed a hierbas by someone out there!
We concluded that it is something in the region of €500 - but may have gone up a little now. I think most dj's like playing there and obviously they get looked after when they are there as well...plus its a Monday, how many better offers are you going to get for a Monday night??!!

lol i think that's me! i should be there in Sept! you??? :)

Some nice artists in there this week, Barnt, Job, Culoe, Black Coffee. But i just dont get Disclosure being on the bill even if it they are for some people.

Surprisingly when they dj they can bring it and they are quite good selectors. Not an obvious booking though!
Ive seen them live with the wife and they were superb. But as djs for for house music, not for me they just wasn't playing the right sound when they was at space closing. They don't suit dc10 at all imo, but if there style has changed then I'll eat my words.

I think Disclosure can bring it as 'credible' house DJs. I think it is a good booking and be interesting to see how it pans out. I think Circoloco are trying to do something different this year as it had got a bit stale and a lot more competition now.

I remember Eats Everything playing this out once (I think) and sounded absolutely fantastic on a proper club system

I'm tempted to go to this. But it'll mean missing Scuba at Cocoon maybe. I'm gonna wait for the times to come out.

Quick report from Monday. A bit delayed, but you know how it is! Arrived about 2200 (late I know). After doing the Main Room a lot last few times thought I'd set my sights firmly on the Terrace. Speaking the damn f**king obvious here, but man sometimes I forget that there is no better place than that DC Terrace on the right night.

Arrived about 2300 when Jeremy Underground just started. He played a fantastic set. Started very Disco infused that worked brilliantly with the crowd, he ended up much heavier.

I was pretty surprised how roomy DC10 was. Suppose it is early July, but felt more like mid June. Don't get me wrong it was by no means quiet, it's just a novelty when you can walk so easily between rooms.

After Solomuns slice of Techno last night (at +1), wasn't quite sure if he'd mix it up for the Terrrace. He pretty much started where he left off in Pacha (which tells you how much his +1 night has come on musically). Nothing new or spectacular, but I freaking love where he is right now as a DJ. Pretty similar to Mattias Tanzmann (who followed). Not caught him much recently, but again a solid set. Was starting to tire a bit but he dropped Maco Carola "Play It Loud" which took me back to 2011.

Seth was up next on the Terrace. Probably the first time I have ever enjoyed one of his sets, for the simple fact that usually the crowd (like for Jones) is often tooooo South London. More regulars will be able to validate this, but it still felt very local. Overall brilliant night.

What time do you reckon disclosure will be on 1am ish? I want to get there early and leave before it gets rammed after midnight. Would people recommend that? Never been to CL

In my experience It's usually rammed around about 10-10.30.
