What do you think the chances are of getting a ticket for the closing party on th island? I'm flying out mainly or Carl Cox and so far haven't got a ticket!
 
on twitter today, cox to play vinyl for the closing party nxt week-first time since 06-should be a few old classics thrown in for good measures. Also some pictures from last night-still major queues to get in @ 4

also going by a vid on YouTube/twitter-sven was in attendance last night during the sunset set
 
didn´t coxy do his usual beach party with "different" music this year ?

Carl Cox's final Music Is Revolution date at Space Ibiza is nearing. He brings his 15-year residency to an end on September 20 and to mark the occasion, he'll be taking vinyl back to the Playa d'en Bossa club.

Apparently 2006 was the last time he played wax there and the DJ wants to play records representing his time at the club, possibly introducing a whole load of old music that this generation's ravers may not have heard.

Speaking about the residency closing party, he said: "I wanted to take things back and pay homage to all those years at Space spinning records. I want to show respect to those older tunes, dig out some of my old vinyl and play them alongside new tunes. A lot of the crowd probably won't have even heard them before, so it's a way of showing the music is still relevant."

As if anyone was doubting his ability, he sees it as an opportunity to prove he's still got it when it comes to mixing wax.

"I thought it was a fitting way to say goodbye. I also want people to know I can still DJ with vinyl and make the house rock. This music has been my life and I want to share it one last time at Space." ...

Carl Cox will play vinyl for the first time in 10 years at the grand finale of his Music Is Revolution party at Space Ibiza. The Final Chapter of his 15-year residency at the club is set for Tuesday 20 September, and to celebrate Coxy is set to dig deep into his collection and incorporate vinyl records into a 10-hour set that will begin at 8 PM in the Discoteca, finishing sometime on Wednesday morning.

We are keen to head in early to avoid the expected busy period ... Can you confirm actual likely Cox start time?
