Carl Cox @ Space 2016 - His Last Year Confirmed

Tickets just sorted out for the opening! Now I can't wait for the line up announcent. Probably around April before that happens tho.
 
I'm hoping for those AnjunaDeep guys in the terrace and just techno folks like Beyer,Digweed etc in main room but we'll see. There honestly should be more popularity for that deeper sound on the island and it may happen this year, cuz this whole scene moves in cycles but I digress
 
Does anyone know if Carl Cox actually DJs at Float your Boat? It says he did last year but I take it not much, I'll be there from Thursday 28th July to Thursday 4th August, can I expect to see him then as its peak time?
 
With regards to the boat parties that had his name attached to it.

Playing only 1 party each year should be upgraded to at least 3 this year. Opening, mid season and the closing.

Can't really expect to call it Carl Cox boat party and have only 1 party.
 
They don't call it a Carl cox boat party though. It's branded as float your boat. Tuesday's include entrance to space and Thursday's include entrance to cream.

Also having been heavily involved with another boat party in Ibiza, I know for a fact its not as easy to just "upgrade" as you say and get Carl cox to play 3 times. It's a good effort getting him to play once! Can't imagine he's cheap and the margins of running boats are tight when you include dj's, security, bar staff, pr and so on. Safe house let fyb use a lot of the artists that play space on a Tuesday play on the boat the same day. That doesn't happen for other boats. Fyb are a tight operation

John Digweed, Fatboy Slim, Josh Wink, Jon Rundell, Luciano, Pan Pot, Carl Craig, Magda & Deetron

I get they have to tease the names out, but hardly much good for people who visit the island when you just give a list of names that will be there over the season! Only the likes of @stivi who get to go to 15 weeks of Coxy will experience all of the above!

However, I think all line-ups with probably be immense!

line ups will be big week in week out. I actually normally don't go to carl cox that often (because monday is sort of my big night out and then I'm often just too tired to go out tuesdays), but I think I'll have to change that up a bit this year. a few names that still aren't announced are some artists that I just can't miss.

Bit of Laurent Garnier maybe? Not seen him in a while... Didn't he used to do the odd Cox night?

First and only time I've seen Laurent Garnier was in 2014 for what was billed as an "exclusive appearance". He is one of those guys i feel like everyone has to see at least once whether it is to your taste or not. Also in the middle of reading his book Electrochoc and its fantastic.

aah. very good! actually harder than I expected, but enjoyed it lots. first 20mins were a bit of a so-so warm up (the older he gets the more I feel he needs a bit until he's completely switched on), but once he was in the game, it was all systems go. great night!
