Ive been banging on about how gutted i am that i missed last night and will be missing the final closing party (sorry for boring you excited lot ;)), but i have never felt so depressed in all my life about something like music. Carl Cox for me is a HUGE part of this depressed state. Obviously Space closing for good is as much of that! He was one of the first DJ's i went to see in Ibiza. Ive been many a time since and have took in a music is revolution for most of my trips to the white isle. Space and Cox were two big reasons i fell in love with the place and now they are going without me having to chance to say bye...I hope they appear somewhere else in the future as rumoured, yeah it wont be the same but it will be a new chapter for both of them.

Ive been talking to people throughout today and they just dont get the big fuss about it, but this is why Ibiza is so special. If you get it, your addicted if you dont you just dont care about it at all.

My first night ever in space was Carl Cox night back in 2006, 19years old, great memories! I don't like change :cry:
 
Aye that's the flyer, I used to have a poster on my wall haha. And I only lasted an hour or 2 at in bed with space. Crazy how different the opening times are now.
 
Yeah the man is due a summer of rest lol Hopefully he will do the one off gigs here and there, and then we will see some sort of Space return with Coxy as a resident once again.

If pepe does retire though, what will that mean for Space as a club? Will there be no return for Space or will he pass it onto someone to run for him?
