I was thinking of US (flat 2-prong) and European (round two-prong) ones. Unless you get the special replacement plugs or certain kinds that you can disassemble, it's a lot easier to splice wires than replace the plug.N8 said:What plugs are you talking about?![]()

They do for important appliances and such. For US plugs, it's a third, rounded prong. For Euro ones, it's a metal strip on the side of the plug. 8)N8 said:Anyone know why US and Euro plugs don't have an Earth point?
