Can one swim to Es Vedra?

It looks close enough - only a few hundred metres - I'd just be worried about boats zipping by and taking off my head.

Can it be done?

a few hundred metres wouldn't be too hard - I used to swim back in school - I'd just have to pace myself.

My only concern would be that in pacing myself, I'd be a sitting duck for boats.

Giant octopus, eh?

;)

go for it, it looks like a good laugh. i wouldnt do it alone though

Be careful, cos the current might sweep you along far away and you could get too tired. Better look if there are pedaloes on the beach to reach Es Vedrà. An advice.

how about a kayak excursion?

McGenius! Who do I talk to about that? Do they have kayak rental places on the beach?

Well its sure not 3km, but its a hell of a swim if you're not on some sort of olympic swimming squad!

Not for the faint hearted!

well id never do it! reminds me of that scene in "the beach" where leonardo and the 2 french ones decide to swim to the island where they pretend they are attacked by a shark!
