Calling All LONDON Clubbers!

Right then, It's time to finalise what we're doing, when.

I've already posted the Fabric listings, but there is another option, The End.

Their listings aren't out for October yet, but I emailed and received this regarding Darren Emerson's Underwater Sessions.

Hi James,

Thanks for your recent enquiry regarding UNDERWATER. I can tell you that the next session will be Saturday 26th October and features Darren Emerson and Lottie in the main room and in the lounge is Terra Deva. The door tax is £13 in advance or £15 on the night. ( I reccomend you try and buy in advance) its running from 10pm till 7am.

hope thats of use to you, any other queries dont hesitate to contact me.

with thanks

Ryan

So, to keep things simple, shall we choose between Fabric (3rd Birthday 19th Oct.) and The End (Underwater 16th Oct.)?

Fabric sounds good but am not sure about the birthday weekend. I went to Fabric's first birthday and it was a nightmare!!!
They made us queue up in the freezing cold for 4 and half hours then when we got inside it wasn't even half full.

To be honest it kinda put me off Fabric plus the fact they some very dodgy drugs in there!!!!!

Well don't worry about the last point. Perhaps something can be sorted out there.

Other than that, I am inclined to agree that the Birthday weekend will probably be very busy.

I avoided Carl Cox, but went last weekend to Laurent Garnier and it was too busy for me. As soon as a big name comes on, all these part-timers seem to come out of the woodwork.

The best nights at Fabric have been little to write home about when you look at who's playing, in fact, the more obscure, the better.

I have to say, that The End sounds like it may be similar, from what they are saying about booking in advance.

So, what do you folks think about skipping the celebrations at Fabric and picking another more obscure weekend, before or after. We could go to The End, but I imagine it will be difficult if there's a largish group.

Of course, there's always a few other, less well known places around to consider, but the sooner we all start talking about the pro's and con's, the better.

Thanks for your input Emma.

I don't know about anyone else but the nearer to pay day the better! Am always broke towards the end of the month!!

Completely understand. I( get paid weekly, so not a problem. I must say, the 5th @ Fabric looks very interesting, with a few different names into the mix.

As long as I know a week beforehand I can make it no trouble

But someone got to buy me a drink ;)

Fabric is a good place, always a good crowd, definatly the right place to go

Would love to join the fun but....

Living in Jersey has it's drawbacks, like £100 per flight, esp. so soon after Ibiza. Would be very keen to know if you guys have a great night and perhaps have a semi regular meet. My misus and me love London, and it would be great fun to meet with other crazy folks who "know the score" as it were in the capitol

Have a mental night folks and be happppppeeee :D

Hello!!

I am still in Ibiza but sadly leaving on Saturday. Fortnately I am going to London on Saturday after I leave here!! I will only be there from the 21st to the 26th, anyone going to be there and going out, or does anyone have any good recommendations of a good place to go?? I have never been before but I here the clubbing is good..........

Lindsay
