i met him a few times in 99 when he wrote some of the crazy flyer stories about the manumission time machine with irvine welsh and kris needs. he was waffling on about some futuristic sh!t, i thought it was the biggest load of bollox i'd ever heard.
Ooh ooh - I also met Howard marks in 99 in Ibiza (he gets about a bit doesn't he). And Shaun Rider and Bez on the same night. (Manu Motel re-opening / first night of Manu Time Machine - the Happy Monday's bass player was so ruined that night that he did a massive sick before they went on stage at Priviledge)
i was there then, the rig/sound broke didn't it and shaun ryder had to fill for a few mins whilst they fixed. told some rank jokes and then got bez to dance a bit.
LOL, poor guy must be having a nervous breakdown by now...
