Yeah, and I'm breeding the flying pigs to take me to the island as we speak!!!YES , maybe Vath and Villalobos will come out and play
hopefully they will have to change it back!
I wonder what is going to happen with all the DJs who are set to play until then??
luckily I don't arrive until later.. but who knows if they will shut it down again!!

DRUGS
Holt said yesterday that the British government is aware of the situation and one of the primary roles of the “Know Before You Go” website is to advise young Britons how to behave on holiday and how to avoid such accidents from happening “but we're dealing with 18-year-olds and when the weather is good, they don't always remember the advice they've been given,” she added. Drugs and alcohol are often the cocktail behind the balcony leap phenomenon. During her meeting with the acting Minister for Tourism Joan Flaquer, she praised the Balearic government's decision yesterday to close three night clubs in Ibiza as part of new measures to crackdown on and minimise drug use and abuse on the island. Holt said that if the government has to resort to taking such steps in order to combat drugs then so be it.
and from today's DDI ("british ambassador happy with the closing of three clubs to limit drug use"):
La embajadora británica aplaude el cierre de tres discotecas para limitar el consumo de drogas

I've adopted a head in the sand stance towards this depressing news til someone has something positive to say it's just so depressing (apart from my breaking club news thread8) .... comedy genius?.... no? oh....

brilliant idea to close some clubs to get rid of the "balcony problem".
but why borabora - ok, balcony leap phenomenon again,
people climb on tables and can fall down
maybe this british ambassador would "praise" the closing of all hotels
higher than one floor too
.and don´t forget to close es paradis, pacha and privilege,
because they have (first) floors or even more (pacha rooftop)
where someone could fall down.
waterpark aguamar behind space is very dangerous too,
i demand the immediate closing of the high water slides

Nice to see we have an ambassador over there that looks like she has her finger on the pulse of the local clubs and Ibiza in general. Joy.
It's just all depressing. One can only hope some sort of deal can be struck. My mates are out on the island for the summer and they're absolutely gutted.

Our source says clubs are banding together to take legal action, and will be bringing you updates as and when news happens."

As some of you have heard Club Amnesia will be shutting down for 1 month.
First of all we don't know what to say, we are all shocked when we got the news yesterday.
But we thought everyone should know about this, since you the PEOPLE are the ones that have supported us from the beginning .
Club Amnesia , Dc 10 and Bora Bora have joined forces to fight this !
And believe us we will fight it till the end .
Our lawyers, as im writing this down, are doing everything possible for Club Amnesia to start June 16 , 2007. But as of now.. Club Amnesia Opening June 16, 2007 have been canceled !!
Lets all pray and hope that we win this fight !!!
