It was rather cool. It is rather a long time to spend in one place if you don't get there til late. I'd say 3-4am would be the earliest

i dont go til august, so from what the paper says maybe ill miss one day of dc10 at the most

but this whole other club closing makes me nervous

I also think this will shake things up a lot

I just want my "normal" ibiza back!

ps:Another alternative for monday is Excentric at Kanya, you'll probably laugh but Fergie is playing mostly techy, electro style stuff now, very much in the Cocoon mould! I'll most likely be at that too.
 
i just talked with one of the residents at amnesia...he told me that amnesia is forced to close for one month but he still doesn't know if Martin Ferrer can change things...i'll keep you updated:!:
 
in related news, the bars maravillas in la marina and loop in sa penya got the music sealed during the last days.....
 
so we'll see you in 4 years...when the government will be changed again;)
and i'm pretty sure that if they continue this way the change is certain:roll:
 
I have to say this post kept me highly entertained as I have been sat on the M25 car park viewing it from my phone.I'm now home and can read it properly and see all the contributers. It really is such big news but like a lot of other people have said I cannot believe the promoters do not have contingency plans for events like this.The potential losses to nights/businesses like these would surely be huge and they would be crazy not to have considered this especially in the light of the Bora Bora closing a few years ago and the damage that caused.

Other clubs will be closed on the Monday as they wouldn't want to be up against another big night at loke cocoon, but with Amnesia closed and 2 weeks to plan it I'm sure one of them will offer a suitable alternative to all the clubbers who were plannng to go to Amnesia and spend a fortune getting in and on drinks?

I will really miss not seeing the Ice cannons this year:cry:

At least Manumission is going to be open for my birthday on the 15th:)
 
I'm not going until August... and even though it may be settled before then I can't imagine how pissed I would be if I was flying all the way over from here... and Cocoon is usually the highlight of my trip.


I really hope things are sorted soon and everyone is able to enjoy their holiday!

Even if they do close and things are 'fine' by the time i get there, who knows what the atmosphere will be like??

I read the ibiza-voice article too... and i really hope they get it sorted soon!

For all the people who are going next week, fingers crossed for you! :)
