BOOOM! Opening Party Friday 12th July *MOVED TO MONDAY 15TH JULY*

Saw some pictures that Booom posted on Twitter of the Cadenza Party. Not made it there yet, but must t say I do like the look of it. They've gone for a very dark industrial underground look which was the opposite of what I thought they'd do. I imagined pink and red sofas and hanging crystal chandeliers everywhere with blondes drinking champagne everywhere. The dancefloor really does look the main event. One thing I couldn't see from the Cadenza pictures was any decoration. Quite liked the curtain thing they had last year over the DJ booth.
 
Are dj fees really that high?? I dont think so..Maybe a one off gig from some chart//RnB/pophop/EDM flavour of the month dj might cost 100k for a night.

Still surely Luciano would be taking a hefty pay cut from last year when he played at Pacha that holds more than 3 times as much right?
 
Dj Sneak's website shows him as playing here on Sunday 15th September, however the party calendar doesn't - anyone know if he's actually playing?
 
I did not like the vibe/crowd at Luciano opening at all :( The club itself is cool tho :)

What do others think of the club?
 
I was there few days ago at a Defected party. The sound is simply too loud and poorly balanced IMHO. Too much bass kick and not enough sub bass - and distorted...

I was at the defected party yesterday- the music was very good and it kept getting better!!!

If you are a guy and wants to take your girl out to a decent night of clubbing, this is the night!

Head kandie but much better!
It is what a night where you combine salsa, mambo , symbals, deep sexy grooves and vocals should be like. The music it's just SO happy. Even groups of girls and guys.

But this is the only night in ibiza that I have been to that resembles anything similar to a commercial clubbing night, where you actually try to pick up. Not just dance by yourself.

The music at the beginiong was for couples because it is sexy, emotional, intense, lots of caribbean and latin flavoured sounds , trumpets, sexy vocals, claps, soulful music that is meant for couples...or girls.

Music that really puts a smile in your face. Great night, even though I hardly danced. Towards the end of the night the music got darker, more tech house flavoured and less latin-flavoured house.

The club has good things, it is intimate. The terrace is HUGE, can they have a dj there please??

The inside is similar to pacha with lots of vip tables.
Drawback, unless you are a vip you will NOT sit down.
The dancefloor is nice , the sound system is incredible!! So intimate and so clear yet not so loud.
It is a good intimate club, compared to space. They just need to find a loyal crowd and build legendary nights ...like enter or cocoon etc.

Musicwise it was very good!
Highly recommended especially if you get complementary free entrance.
