2 days later and the pain is UNBELIEVABLE. I can't touch my face!!!!

also my left arm is all swollen, I think I got my first ever sports injury 8O

A girl at work called in sick because she can't put her bra on

body pump = evil, but quite gratifyingly so.

I dont understand why your face is sore tho......

I like Body Pump. Unless you get overly overambitious with the weights you lift, then you're in trouble.

I can barely walk downstairs after a truly evil spinning class yesterday. The teacher said at the end "How do you feel?" and I said "Like I'm going to be sick" and he said, "Good!". Sadists.

I just can't lift my hands to my face

I can't wait to go again but I think my 'sports injury' might prevent me from going for a while, so I'll have to go through the whole pain thing again next time :?

I know what you mean - the wobbly walk home after a proper gym session is always a bit of a giggle

ahhhhhh it all becomes clear......

I like the "I cant come in to work today, because I cant get my bra on...." that's pure class that is....

I was lucky I joined the Esporta in Swansea but used to use the one in Oxford during the week when I was working up there. I think the membership was half the price that way.

Body Pump was great, I put on to much muscle mass though and it made my running, swimming and cycling suffer a bit so I had to stop.

I fear this could lead back to a famous spotlight scandal:lol:

Stop it you!

My chest is about the size of that guy's left arm and you know it 8O

Anyhow, i don't do so much weights now. I'm doing more cardio and pilates now.

Pilates = killer glutes!

I actually did body pump for the first time after work yesterday (hadn't seen this thread!) and my right arm is really sore although hoping a bath will make it go away.

Really enjoyed the class though and I'm sure your body will get used to it.

Oh dear - I'm doing that for the first time ever on Wednesday!

No pain, no gain I suppose.

I still can't walk very well today. Try and cheat when they tell you to increase the resistence - just pretend to do it. Unfortunately my sadist teacher can tell if the pedals are going round too easily and he comes round and turns it up himself.
