la room is open wednesdays to saturdays from 10pm to 3am and on sundays as an
afterhour

la room (previously known as kinky bar) is in pujada de sa drassaneta 3, the stairs
between c. de la virgen and plaça de sa drassaneta), and it opened at the end of may this
year!!

skin (ex-skunk anansie) did some dj sessions there at the end of september playing her
favourite rock tunes. as she lives in ibiza now it wouldnt be surprising if she djs there at
some point during the winter..........

the brand new bar sunrise is open on thursdays, fridays and saturdays with dj sessions
- from 10pm

sunrise is in c. de la virgen 44, known in the past as samsara and later rented or sold to
cargo (c. de la virgen 61, just in front) and used as an extended terrace and bar for cargo.
sunrise is owned by the people behind the gay bar of the same name in madrid!!

in related news, lola's (c. alfonso XII 10) are doing some reforms inside at the moment. no
news yet if it will re-open for the winter as they previously announced..........

the 2-year-old event sunday papers moves to sa penya after their past experiences at grial
and wine bar (plus el hotel last summer). this winter the chosen place for their sunday
morning parties will be el horno in c. des passadís 8 (next to nación tierra, also open during
the winter)!!

el horno and nación tierra open on thursday, friday and saturday nights (el horno also on
sunday morning )..........
