I walked past there many times in the moring last year, to see my friend sitting having breakfast there, such memories 8)
 
Havn't been to Bar M for 5 years now but then it was good and it was completely different from the west end as is the sunset strip.
was a mainly british crowd then though not sure about now.
Itaca wasn't there then there was a bar called Bay bar not sure if it is still there.
 
Bar M has been our staple diet for the past few years...the perfect ignition platform before take off. The crowd always seems to be buzzing in anticipation and the music is always a great tonic (I highly recommend the Cd if you can get your hands on it)....I love Bar M and want to build one in my back garden! only a few months to go until blast off....

i went to the opening last friday. the funny thing is that one hour and a half before the
opening time (9pm) a group of guys where installing those glass panels. one hour and a
half later they finished, a girl cleaned the panels and hey people, lets start the party!! :lol:

BAR M’s kitchen has been enlarged so that their NANDO’S franchise can offer the full UK
restaurant menu range. WILLIE – co-owner with Manumission of BAR M – is additionally
opening a separate new restaurant elsewhere for this season, called BASIL THAI* . Back
at Bar M the DJ box has moved out of its dark interior recesses and there are plans to
deliver much more of a daytime entertainment ‘thang’, plus fresh musical directions – Rock,
Funk, Dance. To this end THE DIRTY ROTTEN DJs have been installed as additional residents,
with the energised Privilege ‘female toilet’ DJ duo also continuing to partaaay at Manumission
‘proper’.

I noticed in a glass dance floor bit on above the main entrance last week -was this always there and I only noticed now because the scantily clad dancer up there?

Funny enough Sync came to mind:

*vapour rises in an imagination/dream sequence stylee*

*Bangs heel on glass floor* "Oh...it's glass. I assumed it was ice, what with you being so cool and all. I'm Sync, by the way....." *vapor rises, back to reality* :lol:

bay bar cafe looks really nice now - very hippy-ish, very chilled and very erm, very kumharas!! :lol:



tip of the day: if you dinner at il trastevere del vaticano (the little pizza place near mambo where you will find a girl who
used to work in the vip bar of amnesia ;) ) or buy various drinks at sunseabar you might get some free drinks at bay bar
cafe..........

Is Bar M Worth It? - Definately!!!

i stayed in San Antonio in July and Bar M and Itacha are brilliany places to begin ur nite!! bit pricey on drinks but well worth it, especially Bar M wit its see-thru top floor. plays sum quality music!! and u get sum stunnin girls in ther 2!!!
