Getting my tickets this week. Still not heard when Malanga reopens but have a hunch it won't be till October sadly

I just found this on IG too. That's a shame. I hope they open their doors again at some point. I have talked to my wife a lot about Malanga and I wished I could have introduced it this summer.

It’s pretty small but has a 6am licence. Free entry too! Really interesting spot discreetly tucked away in backstreets. The guy I know who used to do the Fonoteca parties there said it was originally going to be strictly funk/soul/afrobeat but a lot of DJs ‘stretched’ that policy and they gradually relaxed it. The main resident Bebé also does Es Xiringuito in Figueretes. I’ve only been a few times but really enjoyed it. The African live drummers last time were amazing.
