Armin Van Buuren and Roger Sanchez to move to Space?

Couldn't see Armin playing DC10...

So was last year Armin & Friends, or just Armin Van Buuren?
As Schulz played by himself for 7 hours, without Armin

could it b possible for armin to stay at amnesia and eric prydz if he is going to have a residency would take over from Roger sanchez in the terrace room.

Must remember as well that Vandit records is now part of the Armada music brand so there are plenty more Djs under this regime!

But doesn't PvD usually sign on with Cream as a resident for them?

Would be very surprised to not see him there.

I think this is the most likely option.

No idea where Sanchez will go though. Possibly Space as part of Come Together?

Eden need a big name after Pete Tong's departure though...

Is the eden moved confirmed, then?

Sanchez fits more in Space than Armin / Armada does.

I believe you can snap up tickets for Tong @ Pacha on Fridays via Spotlight now so I'm guessing he's def gone back.

I assume it might be announced during the WMC in Miami next week!
Interested what the theme will be? Is PURE PACHA dead?

Yea Tong is confirmed at Pacha for 2011, and I remember seeing the armada brand quite a lot last year at Amnesia, it was one of my favourite nights with Gareth Emery so would be a shame to see that one leave!

I remember going too hear Sanchez play at Pacha on a Monday night a few years ago and it was boring hearing him for 6 or 7 hours.

I think this is his downfall, he should just play for 2 or 3 hours and then bring in some guest djs to do the other slots.

Sanchez at Pacha was my best night in Ibiza for a good few years and I never understood the move to Amnesia (I never went back)

I loved his 8 hour sets and I think this is something that more people should do. I dont want to hear 5 DJs stop and start over a night, the journey from house though to the harder tribal stuff was amazing when you reached the destination in the last couple of hours.

I prefer 2 or 3 dj with different styles building it up to The main headliner.like when at cream you have say Gareth emry(build up) then Paul van dyk(trance)finished off by Eddie halliwell(hard trance)

But in the old days, that was the great thing about Sanchez. He could take you through a few different styles of music over the course of the night and it all fit together. It was truly epic on occasion.

Never really been into Sanchez.I imagine it would be just like the tiesto in concert sets

Sanchez was better than the ASOT party I went to in the start of July. Armin's set was good, but the music was just too loud to be pleasant. Will be going with ear plugs this year. ^.^

nods

Some of my best Ibiza memories are the Monday nights in Pacha with Roger. Surely from the dj point of view there is an advantage to being with the crowd the whole way through the night and feeling the mood.

Like you, we never ventured to Amnesia to see the big man, couldn't imagine it would work anything like so good as Pacha.
