Basically, im a bit worried about my gut!!!

When I Lived in Manchester i was a member of fitness first and I went 3- 4 times a week and kept myself in pretty good shape.

Since moving to London im now a member of David Lloyd and i go just as regularly, if anything I spend longer when im there because I do 3 or 4 more excercises than when in manchester and across my arms, chest, shoulders & back it's really showing....apart from one thing.....my trousers are getting tighter, i have had to loosen the belt a notch, cant tell if im getting flabby, it seems about the same?? my diet aint changed, if anything im eating more fruit & fresh veg!!!

the only difference is that at my new gym the only abs machines are the "ab roller" things on the floor, where as at old gym it was asit down type thingy with weights & chest pads?? is one better than the other?? is there a right & wrong way to use the rolley thingys??? I suppose you could say the the upper abs are fine, its the lower abs, between navel & ahem area that is a bit "loose" :?

Why did I think that for one minute someone might offer a valauble & sensible reply?? :?

because it was you who asked for advice.

anyone else and i woulda answered sensibly.

maybe your lower back is expanding hence the tightening of the trousers ;) have you tried putting your legs in various positions when you go on the ab roller?

OK sensible reply.

Both me & Mr Scoobie were told that those Ab Roller things on the floor are a complete waste of time and don't do anything.

you're much better off doing crunches by yourself using weights as additional resistance if needed.

AKA "Happy Fat"!

Drugs bender a few weekends in a row takes care when it gets out of hand JJ. Gotta try and train yourself not to drink loads of lager though or ir cancels outside the 'good' effects of not eating for 36 plus hours.*

first of all, get a body fat reading.

if you think it's raised since last time/too high then drop one of your gym sessions and replace it with a 1 hour run/vigorous swim (followed by sauna of course!) ;)
