Mmmm (part 1)

Es Vedra from Formentera

Ah, nearly home, just a ferry ride to go!

Storm brewing over Cafe Del Lago

Formentera FC's ground. Last time I looked they'd lost every game this season! Way to go...!!

Formentera sunset. Never seen the best, but this will do

Road to Ses Salines beach, Ibiza

Mmmm....(part 2)

Ibiza, nothing but sun, sun and more sun....

I like the one of Es Vedra from Formentera, although my work's websense filter went into hyperdrive with some kind of porn popup from that site

Did it??? The pic was uploaded onto Imagevenue because I have had no problems with that site whatsoever in the past.
If that happens to anyone else I'd like to know!!

yeah, a porn webcam ad popped up on my screen without warning!

try flikr or panoramio

the latter of which allows you to post your pictures in google earth

NO thanks for sharing that ****ing porn-link :spank:

ps:

the "Es Vedra from Formentera"-pic is amazing :p
Well, I've clicked on the photos again on another computer, and nothing untoward's popped up, so I'd love to know why that's happening.
I don't know anything about spyware or how pics get infiltrated, so I don't know how that's happened. Short of taking all the pics down, I don't know what to do. Any suggestions??

PS Is it just the one photo or them all/random??

BTW on uploading I clicked the "SFW" link. I'm very puzzled (and upset).

If it happens again to anyone, let me know and I'll take them down when I get home tonight!

i'm using the es vedra from formentera one as my screen saver... unbelievable picture!! :D

Well, I have read the comments and am no nearer finding out why some one or some people get this bug!
I can only assume that some spyware or malware has got into the user computer and "imagevenue" use triggers it off?
I get loads of gambling pop-ups appear on certain sites, even though I've never gambled a penny - or been on a gambling site ever!!

I'll leave the snaps up but if the pop-ups keep appearing, I will happily take the pix down.

If I get the time I may reup them using a different host and see what happens!

Do either of those alow nice big pics like Howard posted?

Yes. They display them as smaller sizes, but they allow you to download the original as well.

This is most likely unrelated, but I got hit with a virus yesterday evening and the only thing I can think that was slightly dodge (seriously, no late night binge-w@nking sessions!) was the popup I got from that site. I tried to view your pics once I got home from work again but got hit with that popup.

The virus was some thing pretending to be a Windows Security program, but you can tell it was dodgy. It deliberately restricts access to your Task Manager and Control Panel so you can't get in to do anything about it. Pretty much the only option was to reinstall windows.

Like I said, probably unrelated if nobody else is mentioning it. Just be wary, if you are getting popups of any description you have already got some kind of spyware/malware on your PC.

How good was your anti-virus software - has it failed?
With my limited computer experience, when I have had an unexpected naughty pop-up (which had got through the anti-virus and pop-up blocker) I dont click on it or the red X box, all I do is shut down the computer, re-start and do a quick system restore to an earlier date (usually the previous Saturday) and an anti-virus scan and that seems to do the trick. Perhaps I'm just lucky (?).
