The Dakota bar, on the Avenida San José in Ibiza, was closed by the Local Police last week, after several neighbours complained about the excessive noise from the bar. They discovered that the entrance had been bricked up and access was through a terrace, where a bar with seating had been installed, but which lacked official planning permission.
The owner was given 48 hours to return the premises to its original condition, to comply with his licence.

But I do not understand why, when all the after parties are prohibited on the island, the Dakota can continue to do? And was doing all summer.

they were actually shut down by the authorities for doing so and now, after a long time working on it, they finally got the OK from the ayuntamiento to reopen but with the usual opening hours of the music bars.....
