azuli in sa penya is ****ed:

people were entering and leaving. seems like people would knock on the door, which looked closed, and they would let them in
the police is trying to shut down the after azuli for drugs and for playing music
two seasons ago san jose and santa eulalia started investigating the promoter "azuli", who apparentely orgazined a series of illegal parties known as "secret ibiza"
an excellent proganda for azuli. i wonder if they will dare doing any secret party this season . . . . .

Drug Overdose Reduction
The Out-Patients Department at Can Misses Hospital has reported a 40 per cent decrease in the amount of drug related cases that they have dealt with since the introduction of laws governing the opening times of “after hours†establishments. Whereas discotheques have always had to close by 6:00 a.m. in the morning, the after hours bars then took over, but under the new legislation they are not allowed to open between 6:00 a.m in the morning and midday.
According to the Head of the A&E department, MarÃa Ãngeles Leciñena, “when discotheques could be dovetailed with after hours, people needed to carry on consuming to keep them going during so many hoursâ€. According to her, however, this is not the only reason, as the major discotheques now employ private medical teams to deal with minor intoxications on the spot which has reduced the effect of the drugs. Dealing with these patients causes a headache for the medical staff, as frequently they are accompanied by friends who want to continue partying in the hospital, as they are also under the influence, and can prove aggressive when asked to behave themselves.
Leciñena is worried by a new drug which has come on the market via the internet, Mefedrona, which is disguised as a “fertilizer†in its advertising, and has similar effects to Ecstasy. It is known to have caused three deaths in Great Britain and Sweden, but so far has not been studied sufficiently and is therefore not on the list of prohibited drugs.

I read somewhere, in fact it was on the Cocoon facebook page a little further down in the comments, that it was at Ushuaia and Loco Dice played. Gutted - i bet there was loads of these going on while i was over but because i don't know anyone/the right people you can't get in or even hear about it. There was an after party after the m_nus thing at amnesia the other week with paco osuna and ambivalent, you can read a bit about it (with pics) at tINI's blog - http://www.artistalife.com/?p=18345

What started at the Cocoon Villa party quickly moved to Ushuaia. Mumu had a party on at Sands that they pulled the plug on as their DJs were all in Ushuaia getting wrecked with LocoDice where there were some crazy 6hour back to back sets.
