Yeah, I'm sure that will be absolutely fineMany thanks, so i think sleeveless t-shirt instead of vest will be fine.
Saw that and think we’ll hit 6th Sep. Good crowds of messers on the decksSaturdays move to the Garden Stage for the three September dates, with expanded line-ups and a nice additions
I believe its just the Garden stage (outside where Harvey played) and then the club from 11pmFor pikes presents tmrw, would the whole place be open or just the amphitheatre bit at the front (this was case of harvey a few days ago).
Ps: forum: a jump to last post button at top of the thread would be nice![]()
Are the other areas open much? I do miss the zoo feel where can wander, sit by the pool etc.I believe its just the Garden stage (outside where Harvey played) and then the club from 11pm
From my understanding the biggest event that uses more but not all areas is the Cocoon party? Are the other areas open much? I do miss the zoo feel where can wander, sit by the pool etc.
I guess if numbers a bit low you want to keep a critical mass instead of it looking empty
I would say today will be busy as GA stole the show the last time they played. Plus, Prosumer & Severino playing.. ClassWill it be busy today? I see spotlight no allocation left, or that because its 3pm on the day?
Well we’re late 40’s early 50’s, and are going to 528 this Saturday as older crowd. Bit of dancing outdoors, then the club till 4 is perfectWith the annual ibiza trip approaching, I'm torn between Saturday @ 528 or Pantheon @ Akasha for an older, more fun crowd. Planning on hittng cova santa on Sun. We did Sacha @ Akasha last year and had a great time but appreciate Sacha probably brings his own crowd. Appreciate musically these nights are quite different. Two mid-40s couples heading out, and equally interested in the vibe/ crowd than pure music these days. Really torn what to do on the 20th. Can't be doing with all the insta/ selfie bs pretenders, just looking for a solid crowd to have a good stomp with. Anyone have any thoughts. Likewise daytime suggestions. Staying in Santa Eulalia. Have car, will travel
I was there too, another spotlighter I failed to meetI was worried that I hyped today up too much in my head because of how much fun I had the last time Groove Armada played at 528.
BUT it did not disappoint. TEED played the perfect warm up set (I thought) because it felt like a proper build up to the headliners. Some people I was with were saying it was a little slow, but you could feel the anticipation in the crowed when Groove Armada came on and they immediately picked up the pace.
They were stickering phones on entry this time around (which I don’t remember them doing last time) but, as you know, as soon as phones are out of the equation then people are just having FUN. proper dancing and smiles all around.
They managed to mix in Superstylin’ 4x in the setand the final one they dropped the original and the place just went off.
As a die-hard Pikes fan, I was worried about the extension to 528 this year, but they have definitely managed to keep it feeling very Pikes-ey - even in the bigger space.
Basement Jaxx in 2 weeks. Cant wait!
Ah edit to say - went in the club after. Last time I went it was much heavier music, but tonight it was disco-y house, felt very Freddie’s which was nice. It was just so bloody hot though![]()
Looks that way at the moment (also bear in mind a party originally planned for 5 October has been pulled)Perhaps a silly question but does 528 close on the 28th?
Quick question.
In the garden stage area, we noticed some comfy seats to the left side. Are these some sort of vip thing?
As can't see any tickets options for:
"Early entry and seating for those who's backside hurts after sitting on concrete for 20 mins"
