528

Any ideas why 528 hasn’t got a pikes night on Tuesday the 26th August? Another last minute event on in its place maybe?

either that or they don't do one - the last week of august is usually quite a weak one (burning man etc)

So all quick question about "Pikes Presents, at 528". Is it the full 528 venue "experience" or somewhat reduced/limited areas?

Basically go to PP or 528 normal event for the fullest 528 experience?

🙌

[Not sure if this thread or a new one for the question🤔]

Haven’t been but looks like it’s just the old ‘seal pit’ for the outsite bit?

Yeah I haven't been since it changed to 528, was wondering how much outside space is there with shade etc, and is PP a reduced amount of outside space shade?

I ask as need to keep out of direct sunlight as much as possible (I'm not a vampire 🤣)

For the full experience this year, I think Cocoon is going to the only event that does music on both outdoor stages and then also continues in the club.

As I understand it, tonight for Radio 1 the club will also open at 23:00 although they are stressing that it is not being programmed by R1 (the official After Party is at Amnesia) and will instead be run by 528 themselves

So tonight and 24 September is the real answer (and maybe if they sell enough tickets, SHINE on 25 September could also follow same route? Big ask though)

That said, many of the Pikes Presents dates and the bigger named Friday/Sunday parties (FUSE was mega last weekend, Kaluki is picking up each month, Josh Baker and Max Dean's dates will be huge) are great parties, although only one stage - and normally the Garden Stage.

There will be a couple of exceptions where they use the Grand Park Stage instead. That the old Tree House Benimussa area for any oldies

So basically most events at 528 don't use all the open areas but there is always something outside.

The thing I liked about zoo was ability to wander about to all little areas between stages and chill and not get cooked alive 😄

Was looking at 2nd Sept

Pikes Presents | Love.House.Disco

But also possible something the week before.

I guess its unlikely such things will sell out completely so can buy a few days before hand.

Cheers 🙌

I'm not certain that the DJ Harvey standalone date has any outside action. It might have a DJ on the terrace part early doors, similar to the regular Saturday nights but it is being advertised as the club-only

But other than that, yes, all parties use at least one outdoor area

On the Spotlight party calendar it says Shine @528 goes on until 4am. On the home page of the 528 website it says it finishes at 11pm but then when you click on the event page it says it finishes at 4am. Are you saying the club won't open for the indoor bit on the night and that it depends on ticket sales, when it finishes? It seems a lot of conflicting information. Thanks in advance!

No, the club will definitely open from 23:00 to 04:00

That is happening nearly every party now, including the last Kaluki and every edition of Brunch Electronik

What i meant was, they plan to only use 1 outdoor stage. Though they might consider using both if the sales justify doing so

I couldn't find a proper thread to post this but I just wanted to say how amazing Hernán Cattaneo was at Brunch Electronik at 528 last Sunday.
Such good vibes, good crowd and an evening filled with amazing tunes from start to finish.
I can't wait to see the master at work again at Las Dalias/Akasha in October.

Absolutely agree. Hernan was great, as well as the crowd. Lots of happy faces

Pikes on a Saturday is always top drawer. I saw Bushwacka in 2023 and it was one of the best nights out (musically speaking) in a long time.
Thanks it's a hard one to decide on but i've never done Pikes. So Sat 20th locked in!
Guessing Friday 19th Sept will be a big nice (5-6am finish)...
I want to see James Hype, but not sure on a rammed UNRVS, MRAK at Amnesia sounds alright, guess it all depends on the line up.

528 Ibiza is on my mind, does anyone know if the club stays open until 4am? I saw NEXUP 4pm-11pm..
Otherwise Reboot at Eden or Woomoon at Cova Santa!
Hard decisons! What's everyone's thoughts & vibes?

That hasn't been announced yet, but I suspect it will continue into the club as it's shaping up to be one of the busiest 528 dates of the entire summer. Should it open, it's also not likely to be free, but an additional fee (around €20 as an estimation)
