there wouldn't be so many prostitutes if there wasn't a demand for it.
I think people should be allowed to charge for sex, as long as they're happy doing it and are not forced or anything like that. At least legislation helps in some way to get girls off the streets and somewhere safe.

think it's more likely to be a want rather than a need. Want sex, want sex now, want sex your way without inhibitions/with someone better looking than you without the effort/possible embarrasment, why not visit a prostitute?
it's only because we attach a stigma to sexual desire that visiting prostitutes is seen as seedy. Prostitutes in high quality brothels often have lower rates of STIs than the general population because they are so aware of the diseases and get regularly checked up.

When Newcastle played some European team years back (might have been somewhere like Budapest), my mates all went over to support their team..... after a drunken day one of the guys picked up a prostitute and she took him back to her house. On arriving he walked straight into a living room with her parents sitting there, gestured for him to sit down and walked into another room, about 5 mins later she came out with her grandparents in their nightie/pj's and beckoned him to follow her into the bedroom and into the warm bed her grandparents had just vacated 
Cost him £3.75 - he gave her the equivalent of £5 and had the audacity to wait for his change...

I know - I had visions of it being like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (original film) where all the grandparents slept in one bed.....
