Ibiza Rocks House proudly presents the first art exhibition at Pikes from the New York born multimedia artist Victor Spinelli. Behind the title of “Hidden from View”, the artist will conquer the walls of Freddies and Potting Shed this Sunday July 17th from 2pm to 2am.
Spinelli will be showcasing the permanent collection of work created especially for Pikes in 2011 which are 40, one of a kind, photographs on canvas mixed with acrylic paint. The exhibition will also include his latest collection of “Casino Chips” which are hand painted on 24 inch diameter disk of solid wood recreating Casino coins in a 100% Pop style.
He has a close relationship with Ibiza, being worked and exhibited on the island several times. For the past 19 years, he has split his time between New York, the Mediterranean and California and his art has been shown around China, Europe and the United States.
His work includes photography, paintings and a mix of techniques having also worked on films, commercials, music videos, documentaries and print campaigns.He has portrayed celebrities as Cate Blanchett, Karl Lagerfeld or Tarantino amongst many others with a decadent style that absolutely matches with the devilishly Pikes vibes.
The exhibition will take place within the weekly event Pikes on Sunday in whichIsland royalty Mark & Sarah Broadbent and Andy Livesley return withPikes On Sundays to round off the week and set the soundtrack to the perfect Sunday Lunch. A daytime affair of music by the pool from expertly selected DJs leading into an intimate indoor knees up in Chez Fez. Sunday roasts and other gastronomic treats served weekly along with a great bar and cocktail menu. Pikes On Sundays is the must go for those in the know.

where can u park ur car at Pikes hotel..been there early & see only P for 10 cars max, & the road or mudd path is very narrow to get there, only one car can take the road , even both way road...

We will continue to put the surprise back into Saturdays with our weekly parties which sees the incredible cast of characters of the House come together with musicians, DJs, performers and dancers to fill the night with magical moments and unforgettable memories.
Expect fun and games at the Wheel of Fortune, sing at Sunnys Bathtub Karaoke in the playful Freddie’s suite. Turn a corner and stumble across spontaneous Crazy Piano sing-alongs with Robert Campoli. The eccentric charm of the House will be fused with flamboyant fancy dress from Sunnys Boudoir and theatrical spirit from operatic drag queen Tom as The Fat Lady Sings during impromptu performances. Music from Simon Morell, DJ Callum, Bones, Lisa Chadderton and special guest Little Boots.

The White Isle is getting ready for the hotly anticipated return of the man who charmed the island with undoubtedly one of the most special parties of last summer – DJ Harvey. The legendary ‘DJs’ DJ will unveil more of the myth, the magic and the mystery of his incredible all night long sets during his six week Monday ‘Mercury Rising’ residency from Monday 1st August to Monday 5thSeptember.
DJ Harvey said: "It’s a dream come true to be allowed to indulge myself in such a way. I really wanted to come in and be part of the Ibiza thing with a residency of some sort… it just gelled. That’s the big victory; for it to have actually happened and for it to be without question the best night on the island for about fifteen years. It just is. It just f**king is. And I’m over the moon.”
Last summer DJ Harvey made the House his home for his Mercury Rising debut, a concept inspired by the beauty of the real Ibiza, the incredible history of Pikes and a genuine love for music. In DJ Harvey’s own words, “Once upon a time at Club Tropicana, Tony Pike, Grace Jones, Bianca Jagger and Freddie Mercury enjoyed their own grown-up playground at Pikes Hotel on the White Island of Ibiza, Spain. They worshipped Tanit the Goddess of Love and worshipped the night away to music as exotic as their fantasies. Thirty years later and for those in the know, little has changed. Tony is still here and we still dance and love to a Balearic soundtrack. Freddie may be gone but his pleasure palace remains.”
