*** Zoo Project ***

I know not comparable in terms of music but was just comparing it to another dance festival that was the same number of nights. Under £100 for any camping festival is pretty rare these days. Really hope its a success anyway.

Yeah, £89 + booking fee is a steal really.

Not wanting to start the usual underground versus commercial debate, but not really comparable to Creamfields given the vast difference in the line-ups, but nevertheless, still a bargain!

Why did i think it was expensive :? i must of looked at a poor time in my life

Went to Channel Zoo last year and was not impressed at all. I think it was a secret sundaze event and it was pretty lifeless. Fortunately Underground was excellent afterwards and saved the day.

I have always been really impressed by the Saturday parties. Yes they are a few knobs about and the seal pit is rammed but I managed to catch some good acts over the last 3 years. I also like wearing vests so that's maybe why I enjoy it so much.

yes it's a nice party to check out, it's open air and good fun.

tickets are around 40-45€ i think and it gets busy from about 6pm onwards - but that's also when you'll find the biggest queues.

just make sure you don't jump into the pool in the sealpit twice in a row.

Spirit and mixer 10e 12e I think for redbull. Much better value then a beer for 6e when you see the size of the measure :)
One of favourite nights is the zoo, wish there were more like it.

Was at Channel Zoo last Wednesday which was my first time at Gala Night. Drink prices:

Premium Spirit & Mixer (Jack Daniels etc) 12€

Spirit & Mixer 10€

Cider/Beer/Alcopop/Water/Soft drink 6€

They also do pitchers of blue vodka and sangira for 20€ small jug or 30€ large jug

We got there about 6pm and it did not get busy until after 7pm. Zoo Project is likely to be busier than Channel Zoo I suspect.

Security are a bit more robust here, everyone is searched before enrty and they watch you like hawkes when in the venue and regular checks in the loos too. Seen a fair few folk chucked out for getting caught doing things they shouldnt even in the busy crowds of the sealpit so beware.

There is also a BBQ area that serves food - all in all I had a very good night - enjoy

we decided to book an earlier flight to ibiza so we could do the zoo project the day we get there.

should be an interesting (although i reckon the crowd will be a bit on the young side for us old timers:-)lol.

margaret dygas is on the saturday we are there, so looking forward to seeing her.

I am 34 and I have to admit I did feel a tad old at Channel Zoo last week. It was very much a young crowd. I soon got over it though when I got into the vibe and was partying down with the kids
