I've never never made it to Zoo Project before but from the videos I've seen whilst the principle sounds amazing, in the videos I've seen the atmosphere looks like its full of people who are there because they think they should be there not because they want to be there if that makes any sense. Most of the time 95% of the people don't appear to be enjoying themselves and often look a bit awkward.

Maybe it's just the videos I've seen but it gives me the impression that it's a bit overrated and maybe not as good as it used to be in that it's a victim of its own success. Hope not as I've been looking forward to spending the afternoon there but not sure I'll bother now. Might give El Row & Kehakuma a go instead now.

Do both?

I don't think it's overrated at all. There will be lots of people that go because of where it is / what it is and the want to get painted up as an animal etc but thats the same for every event on the island.

A fantastic place for some day time raving, very good guests at times too.

Some of the Channel showcases are very good.

i think you analyze things far too much... you should experience it for yourself instead of jumping to conclusions after seeing a low quality video on youtube!

The videos I've seen look mega cringe, the times I've danced the eve away in the seal pit have been a world away! Even the music over vids is nothing like the tunes I've heard.
In my experience once you get involved when the pit is rocking the face paints and trend become irrelevant and I've found myself highfiving folk I wouldn't normally give the time of day to(and them the same no doubt) as the next bomb drops and everyone just embraces said moment.
Sounds really cheese put like that but it's one of my favourite events on the island I've always left buzzing and wanting more.
