What are your top five cities in the world, and one word to describe the city? Five is limited I know, but makes one think more about selections.

In order of favouritest:

1) London - happening
2) Amsterdam - alive
3) Venice - romantic
4) Barcelona - cool
5) Bangkok - mental

1) Barcelona - vivacious
2) New York - multiplicity
3) Havana - passion
4) Liverpool - home
5) Milan - cultural

Top 5 is very difficult!

In no particular order:

1. London
2. Berlin
3. Barcelona
4. Tokyo (never been but know I'll love it)
5. Sydney

6. NYC
7. Bangkok

1) Washington - home
2) Moscow - the city that never sleeps
3) New York - big big big... need to see more of it
4) London - center of the world right now
5) Rome - gorgeous. never eaten so well anywhere.

Does Eivissa count?

Barca, Madrid, Berlin all close runners-up. Boston, Amsterdam, Riga and Prague are nice as well... and Paris. Ooh, and I loved Bukhara. It's hard narrowing it down!

Florence - Simply stunning and romantic.
Paris - See florence.

Ha ha snap, but swapped you New york for Liverpool!!

 I was just about to post the same  I've not been up to Liverpool for about 8 years so maybe I need to revisit it so it claim my New York spot  ;)

Interesting you said Florence as well, I went to loads of places in Italy and Florence was by far my fave too - much better than Venice (smelly and pigeons  ) and Rome (too hot and busy altho that might have been time of year I visited).

Yes I loved Florence, although I've only been to Pisa and Lucca so can only compare to other Tuscan cities.

It's so funny how I put them in the same order even, maybe I should jumble them about so I don't look like I've copied and pasted yours.

 People probably just thought Sandi's hungover again and couldn't be bothered to think about the question so she thought she'd copy and pasted a shove a random Liverpool in and nobody would notice  ;)

Actually I'd like to change London - Isle of Man
Barcelona - Gurnsey
Paris - Bognor Regis.

Nothing wrong with Bognor Regis.
